Dimetcote Inorganic Zinc Coatings
In the most demanding atmospheric environments, Dimetcote inorganic zinc coatings provide the optimal corrosion protection of carbon steel structures. Dimetcote 9 series and Dimetcote 21-5 provide sacrificial corrosion protection for pipelines, ships, offshore structures, gas turbines, compressors, power generation facilities, water treatment plants as well as oil and gas infra-structure.
As a single coat, Dimetcote 9 resists severe weathering and marine environments. As a primer with recommended topcoats, Dimetcote 9 is resistant to industrial chemical exposure as well as marine exposure above the saltwater splash zone, structural steel and piping, tank exteriors, bridges,
offshore platforms, marine hulls abovewater line, superstructures and decks.
Low VOC ethyl-silicate inorganic zinc, as a single coat, Dimetcote 9H resists severe weathering and marine environments. When used as a primer with recommended topcoats, Dimetcote 9His resistant to industrial chemical exposure. Dimetcote 9H systems can be used for structural steel, piping, tank exteriors, bridges, offshore platforms, marine hulls, superstructures and decks.
Zero VOC, water-based Dimetcote 21-5 is generally applied as a single coat primer with or without topcoats. It will provide long-term protection on a variety of steel construction such as bridges, cranes, offshore platforms, gas turbines, compressors or any fabricated structure exposed to severe weathering, marine environments or moderate chemical fumes. Dimetcote 21-5 is designed for dry climatic application conditions such as those experienced in southern California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico.
Reinforced inorganic zinc primer, Dimetcote 302H provides shop and field repair applicators with an easy to use sacrificial primer that is fast dry to topcoat.
